The orginal set has no circle pad that can be attached to the windshild. This set come with one that is a great improvement.
The product was not what I wanted. Since I had to open the package to discover that it was the wrong device, the seller would not take it back. I'm very unhappy with the experience. The seller was very unhelpful and unfriendly when I called.
Works OK (for a while) but you are better off with their dashboard "beanbag" mount that does not deteriorate and is easy to take off and/or move to another vehicle. I found that the suction cups to not work well for very long if you remove them often.
Garmin suction cup mount is excellent, it came with my Garmin Nuvi, haven't had any problems mounting it. It does leave a ring on the window, which gives away to others you may have a GPS. I haven't had problems using it in extreme cold or hot weather.
this is the perfect replacement for my nuvi 350. The original mount became broken after several uses by family members and numerous falls from the windshield for one reason or another. the price was great about half what garmin wants and its the exact same. Price was right, shipping was fast, and the whole process with Amazon is great as always.
